Hey Mama, what’s your name and where are you from?
A: Teresa Gonzalez I am currently in the midwest
How many kids do you have (or are you expecting)?
A: 3 kids (5,3,1) and expecting our 4th
What has been your favorite part about Mother’s Day?
A: I love mother’s day! I look forward to spending the day with my husband and kids doing the things we love most. We usually all have breakfast together and then go on a family hike or outdoor adventure. It’s so much fun.
How has your style changed during pregnancy?
A: These days it’s all about comfort. My style has to be timeless, functional and comfortable enough to run after my kids.
What’s your biggest Mommy fashion tip?
A: High waisted mom jeans are a lifesaver. They can be dressed up or worn to a quick trip to the store. They are flattering and you can be sure nothing will sure if you have to tie a shoelace or pick up a kid.
What is your favorite PinkBlush piece and why?
A: I have a black and white striped ruffled shirt with a lace trim that I can’t live without. It’s comfortable, flowy and so pretty.
What is your funniest Mom moment?
A: My funniest moments happen mostly when I “think” I have my stuff together. I’m super confident in the snacks I’ve packed, my kids look super cute and then I realize there’s toilet paper stuck to my shoe or I have lipstick on my teeth. It’s just a reminder to not take myself so serious.
Do you have a must have Pregnancy essential?
A: Yes! comfortable underwear is a must. Find your favorite and stock up!
What is your proudest Mom moment?
A: I love it when my kids randomly kiss me. It’s so sweet and because it’s not requested it just makes me feel like it’s really coming from their sweet little hearts.
What is the best advice your Mother gave you?
A: To love my husband and allowing my children to see love displayed. They feel safe when they know mom and dad have a strong relationship and care for each other.
What is your best advice to all the Mama’s out there?
A: Take it one day at a time and find time to rest. It’s easy to get overwhelmed as a mom especially in this Pinterest world we live in. We try to do everything and look amazing doing it and sometimes what our kids need is for us to take a step back and focus on the task at hand. Also, rest!!!! When you can, how you can and for however long you possibly can.
Best quote about motherhood, or a quote from yourself about motherhood.
A: “Contrary to popular opinion, the most important characteristic of a godly mother is not her relationship with her children. It is her love for her husband. The love between husband and wife is the real key to a thriving family. A healthy home environment cannot be built exclusively on the parents’ love for their children. The properly situated family has marriage at the center; families shouldn’t revolve around the children.” ― John F. MacArthur Jr.
