Welcome back, mamas. We hope you had an amazing V-Day (and that there’s still plenty of chocolate to be eaten)! This week, we were able to chat with our favorite aussie babe, Mae-lee Remmington! Mae-lee is the driving force behind @maelee_curvemodel on Instagram. From her casual and practical style to her body positivity, this mama has done nothing but inspire us! Keep reading to hear all about her style tips during her second pregnancy.
Describe your style in three words:
A: Relaxed, comfortable, feminine.
How has your style changed with your pregnancy, if at all?
A: I don’t think it has, I’ve just embraced it and found styles that suit me & that have my flair.
What is your go-to outfit?
A: Most of the time you’ll find me in jeans and a white tee, that’s my go to as I don’t own sweatpants or a shift dress.
Mainly what’s comfortable to chase a toddler around!

What do you love about PinkBlush?
A: This is my second pregnancy and I only wish I discovered Pink Blush the first time around!
I love their diversity. I haven’t come across a brand that caters for plus-size pregnancy! All brands in Australia I have found stop at a certain size, or if they did go to a larger size, they would lose style! As if just because I was plus meant I had to dress drabby. I love the fact Pink Blush caters for a large range of sizes and styles no matter if you’re pregnant or not.
What inspires your personal style the most?
A: Fashion trends! It’s about knowing what looks good on you and feeling confident.
What are your maternity clothing essentials?
A: This time around I’ve been pregnant during one of Australia’s hottest summers, so it’s been about comfort & practicality. Shift or wrap style dresses have been my favourite, and of course comfortable underwear! It’s so important!
In addition, kimonos that you can throw over just about anything and a pair of flip flops are a few more essentials of mine!

What are your maternity clothing essentials?
A: Layering tanks (black and white), longline basic tees, and quality maternity denim — because everything can be built and styled around those pieces as you please, catering to the day or occasion or woman you woke up feeling like today.
What is a trend you hope never goes out of style?
A: High waisted pants. They are comfortable and nothing can pop out! Also skinny jeans!
Do you have any fashion tips for other moms?
A: Dress comfortable, but without losing your style. Every pregnant body is different so it’s important to dress for your shape. And if all fails, accessorize. Simply add a hat or pair of cute earrings!
